We will talk about more and less well-known anecdotes, discover the different sides of Budapest, tell about the city's history in previous centuries and recent decades, and focus on current information that explains the meteoric rise in Budapest's importance today from a cultural, economic and political perspective, and how it influences other European countries, including stops at the most worthwhile points along the route for amazing photos!

The Hungarian Parliament Building was built for the millennium celebrations of Hungary in 1896, one of the most impressive buildings in all of Europe.

Passing through the Aquarium Park, one of the city's central points, where we will be impressed by the story of the construction of the first metro line in Europe.

The point that connects all the metro lines in the city is adjacent to the famous fashion street "Fashion Street".

Meeting point for the tour:

  • The magnificent wheel adjacent to the Union Fountain.
  • An ancient fountain built in honor of the unification of the three cities into one city – Budapest, in 1873: Buda, Óbuda, and Pest.

The provocative Angel and Eagle Monument:

  • A display that the Hungarian government decided to install in 2014.
  • The monument presents Hungarians as victims of the Nazi regime and not as collaborators.

We will stop at the Shoe Monument on the Danube:

A chilling monument to the Jewish victims, who were murdered and thrown into the Danube River by the Hungarian Arrow Cross during the Holocaust.

Budapest's impressive basilica building, one of the most amazing buildings in the city.
* During holiday periods, the Basilica Square also serves as the large market complex.

  • The famous Freedom Park, where statues of the presidents of the United States are placed.
  • In the Red Army Park, the impressive monument was built in 1945 in memory of those who fell in the Battle of Budapest in World War II.

The impressive television building located in Freedom Park:

Formerly the Hungarian Stock Exchange building, it now serves as the building of the Hungarian Public Broadcasting Corporation.
