Ein Kerem is a village in the Jerusalem hills that has preserved its character and become a fascinating tourist gem.

On a tour of the village, we will walk among the traditional homes and learn about the uniqueness of the village.

◀ What is the significance to the Christian world that almost every sect built a church and monastery in it?

▶ We will visit churches and hear about what makes them unique.

Ein Kerem became a fertile home for many artists. who built their home there and the art workshops are scattered along the alleys. If possible, we will also visit the gallery of a ceramic artist.

◀ We will meet next to the spring and be impressed by the clear, pure water that gushes out of the rock.

◀ We will talk about the spring as the center of the village and the functions that water served in the ancient world.

◀ We will be impressed by the orchard and the agriculture within it.

◀ We will tell about the people of the village who built their home, the stone houses on the ridge above the orchard.

◀ We will discover which stream flowed right here in Ein Kerem and flowed into the Mediterranean Sea.
