And then another group of Jews arrived from Egypt and they formed the foundation of the Jewish community here in the city. From that moment on, the community went through many ups and downs. And in the 16th century, the Jews were forced to move to an area called the "Jewish Quarantine," later the Jewish Ghetto., where they led an independent life running community institutions.

During the ghetto tour we don't walk very much, so the tour is also suitable for those who have difficulty walking. There is no problem joining the tour with a wheelchair.

The tour always stops outside the Great Synagogue. If you enter the Jewish Museum, you will also get to see the synagogue from the inside.
