Aperitif time:

Aperitif time It is the most beautiful hour of the Italian's day, the hour when the end of the workday is officially announced and the evening is welcomed with open arms.
It is essentially a connecting hour between the workday and dinner, which can also last until the nighttime entertainment.
It's 5:00 PM and you can see how the tables and chairs of the local bars and restaurants are slowly filling up with colorful glasses and wide smiles. So if you've asked yourself what "this aperitivo" means?

So we'll tell you that dinner has great significance in Italian culture, it's the time when they sit down with their loved ones around a table full of all the goodies for quality time.
An aperitif is essentially an alcoholic drink, usually sparkling, served alongside fresh snacks. That the chef decided to bring out. Aperitif time is actually meant to prepare us for dinner., to stimulate our appetite but on the other hand also to calm the hunger that comes after a day of work, but in our case... it is designed to improve the mood and ensure that everyone around the table will spend their evening with maximum fun.
The word aperitivo comes from the Latin word "aperita" - to open, as the drink is what opens the meal. The custom originated in the northern Italian city of Turin and was traditionally associated with drinking vermouth (a spiced wine liqueur) created by Antonio Benedetto Carpano. Today, Italy has the largest share of vermouth in the world, and brands such as Martini, Cinzano and Gencia have recently become synonymous with vermouth, but there are many, many others. There is no single drink that is traditionally drunk at aperitif, but it is usually customary to drink vermouths, liqueurs or dry prosecco, because we drink these drinks before a meal and therefore they will almost always be dry – not sweet so that the flavors do not overpower the food that comes after.

What do you drink and eat on the tour? :)

The tour consists of five stops where we will taste local cuisine alongside fine wines and cocktails.

  • Let's eat dinner so we can drink without worries!
  • Two stations of high-quality Italian delicacies paired with local wines by different sommeliers.
  • Two additional stations of great drinks and cocktails specially created by top-notch mixologists - because we will never compromise on quality.
  • And how could it be without one last sweet stop of dessert, which of course is also full of alcohol. And as is customary at an aperitif, each stop will also have local and especially delicious appetizers!
