In the evening, changing its character from a bastade to a vegetable and fruit vendor, it becomes a popular entertainment venue. Friends sit on the bastade and cheer, impressive bars open under the cover of darkness, and the market fills with friends who come to celebrate life in an authentic and unique Jerusalem atmosphere.
We raise glasses to cheers, sing, dance, and thus the shouts of the market traders selling their produce are replaced by immersive rhythmic music that invites us to join the celebration.
⬤ The traditional Jerusalem tabun – We will visit an old bakery that preserves the baking of the Jerusalem pita “Ash Tanur.” We will enjoy it warm from the tabun alongside a variety of salads, authentic handmade Jerusalem hummus, eggplant salad, pickles and more.
⬤ We will visit the market's tahini mill In it, sesame seeds are ground with millstones and organic tahini is produced in a variety of flavors.
⬤ We will taste various pastries from the market.
⬤ Persian spices and various nuts For enriching food and salads.
⬤ Unique blends for making drinks.
⬤ Halva in a variety of flavors.
⬤ Unique cheese platters Crackers and snacks.
⬤ And of course we raise our hands and nod in a sweet embrace Baked on site and enriched with toppings.
