The towns are close to each other, allowing travelers to Hungary to enjoy their unique character during a day trip that departs from Budapest in the morning and lasts until the evening.
The town of Szentendre is located on the banks of the Danube, about a half-hour drive from Budapest. Its residents are friendly and accustomed to tourists, and some may even address you in Hebrew.

The pedestrian streets and alleys of Sant Andreu We'll stroll along the picturesque pedestrian street and enter the narrow, colorful alleys that have made the town a magnet for many artists. Along the way, we'll encounter small galleries, handicraft shops, cafes, and local artists displaying their works. The atmosphere combines an artists' village, a historic town, and a relaxed pace. On the outskirts of the town, near the river, a pleasant flea market takes place where you can find unique souvenirs.
📌 Marzipan Museum
The Marzipan Museum, located on the main pedestrian street of the town of Szentendre, extends over two floors of a kind of labyrinth packed with spectacular marzipan works, including statues, buildings, and fairy-tale characters all made of marzipan in a variety of colors.
The world's smallest synagogue
The town resident who wished to commemorate his parents and the local victims of the Holocaust began building the synagogue, and his son completed the construction. The site, considered the smallest synagogue in the world, currently serves mainly as a memorial site: in the courtyard, there is a marble plaque in memory of the victims and exhibits on the story of the Jewish community of Sant andre. The place is maintained by an elderly woman. The site subsists on donations.

The town of Visegrád is located on the banks of the Danube, about another half-hour's drive from Szentendre. The town is famous for the ruins of the Hungarian royal palace and the well-known citadel overlooking it from the hilltop, as well as for the lush views of the Danube Bend.

Pushpin The main attraction: St. George's Knights' Encounter' In Solomon's Tower, a 13th-century fortress overlooking the bend of the Danube.

The Knights' Experience At the end of the show, we will try our hand at archery, throwing throwing stars, and more, with the knights' guidance.
Visegrád Mountain Coaster
Near the fortress, there's a bobsled run: you sit in a sled, slowly ascend the mountain, and then release – a descent of almost a kilometer through the winding forest. Everyone goes at their own pace: those who want to fly, and those who want to slide slowly and enjoy the scenery. Kids love it, you can ride in pairs, and the track is open even in winter and rain.
Visegrad Fortress
In the remains of the citadel and palace, built in the 13th and 14th centuries, you can see accessories, weapons, clothing items, and wax figures that simulate the lives of palace inhabitants in previous centuries. The citadel was used by Hungarian kings and is of great importance to Hungarian history. From the observation tower, a magnificent panoramic view of the Danube Bend and the surrounding mountains unfolds.
The Knights Restaurant
A famous restaurant offering large portions in a medieval banquet atmosphere, with staff dressed in traditional attire (cost not included in the tour price, meals are inexpensive).
