The most enjoyable day you'll ever have on vacation๐ซถ๐ป
It is actually a section that resembles a bend in the shape of a knee, in which the Danube River bends. Along the Danube Bend area are many towns with an authentic color and many attractions, the most famous of the Danube Bend towns are Szentendre with the famous artists' village, and the town of Visegrรกd, the historic capital of Hungary with the ancient King's Palace and magnificent fortresses with panoramic views.
The towns are close to each other, allowing travelers to Hungary to enjoy their unique character during a day trip that departs from Budapest in the morning and lasts until the evening.
The town of Sant Andreu (Szentendre) is located about half an hour from Budapest and is characterized by narrow, colorful alleys and a special atmosphere, thanks to which it has become a center of attraction for many artists who are active in the artists' village within the town. In Esztergom, there are museums, galleries, handmade souvenirs, beautiful church buildings, cafes and restaurants, alongside artists who display their works in the town's picturesque pedestrian street. The town's residents are friendly and accustomed to tourists, and some will even address you in Hebrew. In addition, on the outskirts of the town near the Danube River there is a nice flea market where you can find unique souvenirs.

The smallest synagogue in the world (Szรกntรณ Jewish Memorial House and Temple)
The construction of the synagogue in the town of Sant Andreu was started by a son whose parents were residents of the town and who wanted to commemorate their memory and the memory of the local people who perished in the Holocaust. The son did not get to finish building the synagogue, but his son continued the work and completed the construction of the place, which is now the smallest synagogue in the world. The synagogue courtyard is spacious with a marble plaque commemorating the victims of the Holocaust and exhibits telling the story of the small Jewish community of Sant Andreu. The place is maintained by an elderly woman (a Christian) and it is worth leaving her a donation when visiting to help preserve the place.
The town Vysehrad Visegrรกd is located about half an hour further from Szentendre, and has lush landscapes and the famous Visegrad Castle (Fellegvar Visegrad) overlooking it from a hilltop.
