Get to know the culinary history The fascinating story behind the flavors and famous cuisine of Thessaloniki.
Taste the famous delicacies of Thessaloniki, which have almost been forgotten, some of which are unknown to many.
Walk through the lively ancient markets – Also at the new food market and you will meet local producers there.

This tour includes tastings at 8 to 9 tasting stops – with some of the finest products:

⬤ Tasting of different varieties of local cheeses.
⬤ Turkish delight.
⬤ Olives.
⬤ Greek pastries.
⬤ Sweets.
⬤ Halva.
⬤ Honey and nuts.
⬤ Greek drinks (tsiprou, racina and ouzo or wine).
⬤ Greek coffee.
⬤ Stops at a local and authentic restaurant where you are served traditional Greek dishes at the center of the table and desserts at the end. In fact, a Greek lunch at the end of the tour.

The instruction is in English with a local Greek guide, who speaks English and Greek (easy and understandable English. Usually, if needed, there is also a guide who translates into Hebrew). We believe that only a local guide who grew up in a Greek home is well-versed in the local food culture and Greek cuisine.
