Between brutalist concrete buildings from the 1960s run streets named "HaTnufa" (Momentum), "HeAmal" (Labor) and "HaMelacha" (Craft) – names that make it clear people came here to work. The complex was built to move the factories out of the city. Over the years Tel Aviv grew around it, most of the factories were abandoned, and their place was taken by pottery studios, spaces for young artists and cafés, alongside the veteran craftsmen who are still here.
Since the war, Kiryat HaMelacha has become the place where major artists come to paint giant murals about the war.
What we’ll see along the way
Murals of the war's heroes, such as Inbal Lieberman, the kibbutz security coordinator
A mural by an Iranian-born artist, in memory of an Israeli soldier of Persian descent who fell in the October 7 war
Alongside the heroism – politics and criticism too
Street art and establishment art, between galleries and garages
This is where the big creators come to say everything they have to say, and we'll go out to listen, to ask and to answer back. On this tour you can, and are even encouraged to, talk to the wall.
Tel Aviv-Jaffa through its food, art and stories – with someone who knows every corner of it.
I'm a licensed tour guide, archaeologist and artist. I've been guiding since 2008, and for the past decade I've focused solely on Tel Aviv-Yafo, the city where I was born.
⬤ Tailor-made tours – I adapt every tour to the group, and adjust it as we go.
⬤ Market food – tastings that tell the story of a place and its people.
⬤ Street art from the inside – my signature tour. I paint in urban projects myself, and on the tour you'll meet street artists I know personally.
⬤ History, architecture and archaeology – in Jaffa and Tel Aviv, including lesser-known neighborhoods. MA in Archaeology and Religious Studies, with experience in research excavations.
I'd be happy to tailor a tour for you and show you my city.
