Carmel Plus: Food Tour of the Carmel Market and the Yemenite Vineyard

We will start the tour of the Carmel Market with an etrog drink from Uzi Eli that will whet the appetite and also give us the health benefits that Uzi Eli is willing to swear that the drink provides. We will taste golgalvah stuffed with all the goodness of the best Yemeni cuisine. We will experience the famous Tripolitan burika with a combination of vegetables, cabbage and chirashi. We will experience a little Britain with fish and chips. And since we have already arrived in Europe, we will continue with a Hungarian experience of sweet kyurtosh and tell what the connection is between kyurtosh and rifles. We will taste divinely flavored shredded meat in a smokehouse and we will even go all the way to Brazil with a special acai.

We will combine the culinary experience with a visit to the alleys of Kerem Hateimanim and touch on the special stories of the neighborhood. We will hear the story behind the Shellfish House, learn about the story of the Jewish community of Eden and the difference between them and the other Yemenite immigrants, hear about the Samson Tel Aviv group that grew up in Kerem and was the pride of the neighborhood, touch on the story of the Kerem gang and describe the process of change that the neighborhood is going through.
