Deals with Jewish heritage in Jaffa and focuses on the little-known story of the immigration from North Africa that arrived in Israel in the mid-19th century and established a community in Jaffa that was "unique in its mission."
She purchased land north of Jaffa to establish a Hebrew city, planted the first Hebrew orchard, and revived Jewish agriculture in the Land of Israel. She helped establish Mikveh Israel and Petah Tikva, absorbed the first immigrants, assisted and accompanied them in establishing the first settlements, and laid the initial foundation for transforming Jaffa from a gateway into a Zionist center from which the State of Israel would grow. .
